The perfect balance of tart and sweet, this Vegan Cherry Cranberry Sauce is fresh and vibrant, with notes of citrus and a beautiful bright colour.

The addition of cherries gives this cranberry sauce a more vibrant pink-ish hue that looks absolutely gorgeous drizzled over holiday dinner. The cherries in this recipe also amp up the fruity taste in this sauce. Once you add cherries to your cranberry sauce you will never go back!

This Vegan Cherry Cranberry Sauce totally elevates any plant-based holiday meal.

Common Questions

Should I use fresh or frozen cranberries and cherries?

Yes! You can use fresh or frozen cranberries and cherries to make this sauce. If using frozen cranberries and cherries, you don’t even have to thaw them out at all beforehand.

While fresh is typically better to use in cooking than frozen, in a cranberry sauce you will get pretty much the same result whether you use fresh or frozen!

How long will this last in the fridge?

Store this sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 10 to 14 days.

Can I freeze this Vegan Cherry Cranberry Sauce?

Yes! Store this sauce in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag for up to one month.

Can I make this sauce ahead of time?

Absolutely! It’s a great idea to make this recipe a day ahead of time. Make your holiday dinner prep easier by making this sauce the day before.

The flavours in this sauce will mingle and enhance even more after being stored in the refrigerator for a day or so.
