5 Ingredient Oat Cocoa Cookies sweetened with cocoa and topped with pumpkin seeds. Full of iron and protein, they make a healthy dessert.

5 Ingredient Oat Cocoa Cookies
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 3 large bananas overripe (If your bananas are not overripe add 1-2 Tbsps maple syrup to sweeten)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter or nut butter of choice
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp cocoa powder unsweetened
- handful pumpkin seeds optional
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix well until fully combined.
Wet your hands and form 8 balls with the cookie dough.
Place each ball on the lined cookie sheet, and press each ball into a cookie shape.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly golden on the edges.
Allow cookies to cool for 10 minutes before eating.
These cookies are Vegan and Gluten Free. They should be stored in the refrigerator and will keep for 5 days. They are freezer-friendly, for up to two months.
If your bananas are not overripe you'll want to add 1-2 Tbsps maple syrup to sweeten your cookies.
